We are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead our end-to-end client relationships, from initial prospecting and onboarding to nurturing long-term, high-value partnerships. In this role, you will generate leads through multiple channels—including hosting webinars, cultivating strategic partnerships, and online networking—while building trust and maintaining high engagement to ensure a successful collaboration path. Because we operate in an international environment, complete fluency in written and spoken English is essential; command of any additional languages is a definite plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market research on customers and competitors.
  • Proactive outreach to target prospects, converting them into clients. 
  • Maintaining sustainable long-lasting relationships with clients, operating as the go-to point of contact to handle contingencies and maintain an engaged relationship.
  • Leading the negotiation of contracts to maximize client lifetime value.
  • Liaising between the client and internal teams.
  • Representing the company at self-organised and third-party activities such as webinars, workshops and networking events to drive lead engagement. 
  • Building affiliations with business incubators, start-up accelerators, and similar organizations.
  • Tracking and reporting on key account metrics, providing regular progress updates to internal management.
  • Monitoring customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improved customer retention.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's/ Master’s Degree;
  • At least three years of end-to-end key account management;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Excellent communication including presentation and public speaking skills;
  • Proficiency in the use of AI SDR (Artificial Intelligence Sales Development Representatives) workflows;
  • Data literacy;
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred

  • Key account management experience in a related field i.e., European and/or US small businesses seeking public research and innovation funding; 
  • Proficiency in the professional use of LLMs and prompt engineering;
  • Working proficiency in other European languages.
